Is KUV free?
The Windows preview is free to use. KUV does not include a paid TV subscription or bundled channels.
Which devices work today?
The current release supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 on x64 PCs. Mobile and smart TV releases are planned.
Do I need to extract a ZIP?
No. Visitors download KUVPlayer-Setup.exe directly. Open the installer and follow its steps.
What playlists are supported?
M3U playlist URLs and standard Xtream accounts. Provider availability, account limits, stream formats, and codecs affect compatibility.
Can I use a large playlist?
Playlist and Xtream catalogue downloads support up to 256 MB per request. Plain XMLTV guides support up to 64 MB. Compressed .gz guides are not supported in this preview.
Why does Windows show a publisher warning?
The current installer is unsigned. Windows may show a publisher or SmartScreen warning. Keep Windows security protections enabled.
Are my details stored online?
This preview has no KUV account or cloud library. Provider connection details use OS-backed secure storage on your device. Favourites, viewing progress, and appearance preferences stay locally. Your provider receives the requests needed to load and play its content.
Does KUV provide channels?
No. Connect playlists and content you have permission to access.
